RUEBEN KENDRICK (1938 - 1995)
Rueben Kendrick, 56, Loyal, Clark County,
died Sunday, Feb. 12, 1995, at St. Joseph's Hospital,
Marshfield.
Funeral services were held at 2 p.m. on Tuesday, Feb. 14, 1995, at
Rinka Funeral Home, Loyal. Father Roman Kaiser officiated. Burial
was in St. Anthony's Catholic Cemetery, Loyal.
Pallbearers were Bob Bertz, Bob Pozanski, Don Kirkconnell, Leslie
Shepard, John Miller and Brad Asselin.
Rueben Kendrick was been on June 20, 1938, in Carter, Wis., to
George and Ellen (nee McDaniel) Kendrick. As a young man, he lived
on the family farm.
He was institutionalized in 1954. He moved to the Clark County
Health Care Center in Owen in 1980. He resided there until moving
to Pabich's Residential Facility in Loyal in 1989. He worked at the
Adult Development Service in Greenwood for many years. Rueben could
always be seen waving to people coming into or leaving Loyal on
Hwy. 98 on the west side of town.
Survivors include his mother four brothers, Virgil, Rudy, Roddy and
Robin four sisters, Roxanna, Evaline, Rebecca and Ruby and many
caring friends.
He was preceded in death by his father one brother, George Jr. and
one sister, Caroline.
Rinka Funeral Home assisted the family with arrangements.
