Prebil, Anton (26 Sep 1913 - 12 Oct 1994)
Anton Bill Prebil, 81, Willard, Clark County, died on Wednesday, Oct. 12, 1994, at St. Jsoeph's Hospital Hospice Care Unite, Marshfield. Funeral services were held at 11 a.m. on Friday, Oct. 14, 1994, at Holy Family Catholic Church, Willard. Father Steve Baures officiated. Burial was in Holy Family Cemetery. Pallbearers were Ed Bayuk, Ed Perko, Val Krainz, Hank Janezich, Bill Petkovsek and Alvin Kaltinger.
Anton Paul Prebil was born on Sept. 26, 1913, in Ely, Minn., to
Frank and Mary (nee Skeryance) Prebil. He worked in Chicago for
some time after school before returning to Willard to farm. He
married Molly Perme on Aug. 5, 1938, in Willard. She survives. He
farmed until his retirements in 1975. He loved baseball and
hunting. He was a member of Holy Family Catholic Church.
Survivors include his wife one son, Garth (Kathleen) Prebil, Sussex
one daughter, Kathie (Doug) Ellsworth, Colgate two grandchildren
and one sister, Pauline Winkenwerder, Watertown.
He was preceded in death by his parents, one brother and three
sisters.
Rinka Funeral Home assisted the family with arrangements.
