HARRIET VOELKER
Harriet E. Voelker, 87, Colby, Clark County,
died Friday, Nov. 4, 1994, at St. Joseph's Hospital Hospice Care
Unit, Marshfield. Funeral services were held on Monday, Nov. 7,
1994, at First United Church of Christ, Colby. Rev. Kenneth A. Dix
officiated. Burial was in the Colby Memorial Cemetery.
Harriet E. Fischer was born on Sept. 30, 1907, in Black River
Falls, to Harry and Louisa Fischer. She attended Black River Falls
schools. She married Oscar J. Voelker on Nov. 30, 1926, in Colby.
He preceded her in death on March 7, 1977. She farmed with her
husband until they retired and moved to Colby. She was a member of
First United Church of Christ and its ladies aid.
Survivors include two daughters, Bonnie (Max) Ramker, Abbotsford
and Virginia (Leo) Stecker, Park Falls two sons, Stanley (Lois)
Voelker, Milan and Bill (Betsy) Voelker, Stratford 21 grandchildren
and one sister, Beulah (Art) Williams, Madison.
She was preceded in death by her husband, her parents, one brother,
six sisters and two grandchildren.
Community Funeral Home assisted the family with
arrangements.
