JEROME DAVEL (1935 - 1994)
Jerome Jerry Andrew Davel, 59, Loyal, Clark
County, died Tuesday, Nov. 15, 1994, at St. Joseph's Hospital
Hospice Care Unit, Marshfield.
Funeral services were held at 11 a.m. on Friday, Nov. 18, 1994, at
St. Anthony's Catholic Church, Loyal. Father Roman Kaiser
officiated. Burial was in St. Anthony's Catholic Cemetery.
Pallbearers were Randy Cook, Larry Goode, Rodney Payne, Gene
Wardesky, Chris Langreck and Sylvester Bauer.
Jerome Jerry Andrew Davel was born on Feb. 23, 1935, in Loyal, to
Bernard and Katherine (nee DeYoung) Davel.
He received his education at St. Anthony's Parochial School and
graduated from Loyal High School in 1955. He married Nancy J.
Whittemore on July 2, 1955, in Loyal. They later divorced. He
worked at O. W. Trindal Company from 1955-1976. He then operated
Barney's Vegetable Farm until the time of his death. He was an avid
outdoorsman and trapper. He was a member of St. Anthony's Catholic
Church.
Survivors include his mother of Loyal two sons, Robert (MaryLee)
Davel, Neillsville and Larry (Eileen) Davel, Neillsville five
daughters, Marie E. Davel, Spencer Debi (Chris) Langreck,
Marshfield Tami (Randy) Cook, Loyal Shirley (Larry) Goode,
Neillsville and Lisa Bogdonovich, Unity 15 grandchildren four
brothers, Daniel Davel, Marshfield Patrick Davel, Wausau Timothy
Davel, Loyal and Thomas Davel, Madison four sisters, Marliss Hoeck,
Hartford Marcella Sally Bauer, Wisconsin Rapids Jacqueline
Wardesky, Milwaukee and MaryAnn Wehrman, Loyal.
He was preceded in death by his father and two brothers, Kenneth
and Richard.
Rinka Funeral Home assisted the family with arrangements.
