RICHARD REIS JR. SERVICES HELD AT ST. ANTHONY'S


Richard Reis Jr., son of Mr. and Mrs. Richard Reis. Sr., R.1, Unity, drowned on May 21, 1975, at the Greenwood Park, Clark County.


Funeral services were held at 11 a.m. Saturday at St. Anthony's Catholic Church, Loyal, with burial in the parish cemetery.


Sister Rosalie Deck and Sister Rosemond Deck, aunts of the deceased, sang several songs. Father Marion Deck, an uncle of the deceased, who is with St. Francis Seminary at Loretto, Pa. Was celebrant of the mass with Father Chester Osowski, concelebrant.


Students and faculty members of Loyal High School attended the funeral in a body.


A PCCW rosary was held at 3 p.m. Friday and a Prayer service at 8:30 p.m. Friday, at the Rinka Funeral Home, Loyal, who was in charge of arrangements.


Richard Reis Jr. was born Sept. 11, 1957 at Washington, Pa., and attended grade school and his first year of high school in Pennsylvania. He moved to the Loyal area in 1972, where he attended Loyal High School, where he was to have graduated Thursday evening. He was an active member of the FFA and a past member of the golf team.


In additional to his parents, he is survived by four brothers and four sisters, Andrew, Daniel, Patrick, Anthony, Deborah, Emma Jo, Mary Ann, Juanita, all at home, and his grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. F. A. Deck, Loretto, Pa.


He was preceded in death by one brother.
