ADDIE WOOD (1875 - 1900)
 

Mrs. Addie Wood died at her home near this place (Eidsvold, Clark County) on Tuesday, July 10, 1900 at 4 p.m., of consumption of the bowels. The funeral services were conducted at the school house by Rev. Paul Hull, at 3 p.m., Wednesday, after which the remains were laid to rest in the Eidsvold Cemetery. The deceased was an only daughter of Mr. and Mrs. George Sayles of this place, and was born near Theresa, N.Y. twenty-five years ago. She came here about ten years ago and was married to Ed J. Wood, some five years later. Besides her husband and parents, a little daughter, a brother and many more distant relatives, as well as numerous and living friends mourn her early demise. She was a member of the M. E. Church.
