MRS. MATT BAUMGARTNER
Greenwood Mrs. Matt Baumgartner, 66, died of a heart attack Friday
afternoon, Feb. 12, 1943 at 1:30 o'clock at her home in the south
city limits (Greenwood, Clark County). She had been seriously ill
the past four weeks and was in poor health for a year.
Mrs. Baumgartner, the former Bertha Brams, daughter of the late
Jacob Brams, was born in Linxville, Feb. 27, 1876. The Matt
Baumgartners resided in Humbird until two years ago when they moved
to Greenwood.
A Member of Zion Reformed Church and its Ladies Aid Society, Mrs.
Baumgartner is survived by her husband a son, John Baumgartner,
Fall Creek and five daughters, Mrs. John Michaels, Clay City, Ind.
Mrs. Victor Weidler, Ridgeway, Pa. Mrs. Adolph Weidler, Decatur,
Ill. Mrs. Dan Sherman, Sturgeon Bay and Mrs. Robert Helpel, Green
Lake.
Funeral services have been arranged for Tuesday afternoon at 12:30
o clock at Zion Reformed Church at Greenwood and at 2 o clock at
the Reformed Church at Humbird. The Rev. B. M. Fresenborg will have
charge of the rites, and burial will be made in Mentor
Cemetery.
