GORDON E. MILLER (1880 - 1881)
Died,, Gordon E. Miller, only son of Thomas and Olive C. Miller,
Eaton, Clark County, Wis., died of brain fever May 22, 1881, aged
15 months.
The shadow of death that passed over this model home is indeed
heart rendering, and nothing but the hope of meeting their only
child in the sweet bye and bye, consoles these parents. Gordon was
a beautiful child, and even in death, the smile of recognition was
visible upon his fair features, and when mortal puts on immortality
he will still be more beautiful, for of such is the kingdom of
heaven.
