MRS. SARAH ELIZBETH BUCHHOLZ DEATH OCCURS AT MEMORIAL HOSPITAL


Mrs. Sarah Elizabeth (Dan) Buchholz, 88, of R. 1, Loyal, Clark County, died at 11:10 p.m., April 26, 1975, at Memorial Hospital, Neillsville.


Funeral services were held at 2 p.m. Wednesday at United Methodist Church, Loyal, with interment in the Loyal Cemetery. Rev. Gene Carlson officiated.


Miss Connie Smith, accompanied by Mrs. Julie Fedlt, sang Beautiful Isle of Somewhere and In the Sweet Bye and Bye.


Pallbearers were Robert Young, Irban Aumann, John Rakovec, Joe Hubing, Albert Walter, and Roman Walter.


The Rinka Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.


The former Sarah Elizabeth Bredlau was born July 21, 1886, in Ontario, Wis. She received her education in Ontario schools.


She was married on June 26, 1912 at Ontario, Wis. to Daniel Buchholz, who preceded her in death on Oct. 22, 1968.


They lived at Hoffman's Corners at Kendall, Wis., where her husband was employed as a buttermaker. They farmed for a short time at Wilton, Wis., moving in 1924 to a farm northeast of Loyal, where they farmed until 1956. They lived on the farm in retirement.


Mr. and Mrs. Buchholz celebrated their Golden Wedding in 1962.


Mrs. Buchholz was a life member of the church, the Women's Guild and Club.


She is survived by two daughters, Miss Arlene Buchholz, R. 2, Loyal, and Mrs. Clarence (Vera) Meinhardt, Greenwood, and one grandson.


She was preceded in death by her husband, one daughter, one brother, and one sister.
