HANNIBAL KIMBALL (1798 - 1888)

Died in this city, Dec. 10th, 1888, of general debility, Mr. Hannibal Kimball, aged 90 years and 11 months.

Mr. Kimball was born in the state of Maine, and served in the war of 1812, for which service, at the time of his death, he was by especial act of Congress drawing a pension of 30 a month. He was the father of J.A. Kimball, of this city, and leaves three other children to mourn the loss of a revered father. His wife still survives him, and is now 74 years old. This is the first death in the family, the aged patriarch going before to prepare the way.
