BRIGHTON CORNER
Mr. and Mrs. Frank Cramer and family and Mr. and Mrs. Leonard Cramer and family were Thanksgiving Day guests at the Herman Krause home.
Paul Sersch, Harry Stroetz and Albert Hoff left Thursday morning for Flambeau river where they expect to get their deer.
Frank Eddy of Genon and Frank Cramer and Delmer Bruesewitz are hunting at Jump River.
Mr. and Mrs. Ernest Korth entertained the following guests for Thanksgiving: Mr. and Mrs. Math. Holzem, Sr. and Mrs. Helen Meyer and sons of Wausau, and Mr. and Mrs. Chris Sundeen of Chicago.
Mrs. Arthur Phillips is spending much time at the Marshfield hospital with her mother, Mrs. Bombard, who has recently sustained a serious injury.
George Schwantes Sr., Donald Schwantes, George Schwantes, Jr., joined Lyle Weinitz and John Schwantes of Janesville on a hunting trip to the north woods.
The Brighton Junior Homemakers club sponsored a card party at the Legion hall Wednesday evening.
