Langreck, Angeline (22 October 1937 - 24 January 1966)
Funeral services were held Wednesday morning from St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Neillsville for Mrs. Robert Langreck, 28, of Rt. 1 Neillsville, who died Sunday in a hospital in Marshfield. The Rev. Bernard T. Kelly officiated. Burial was made in the parish cemetery.
Mrs. Langreck, the former Angeline Pekol, was born October 22, 1937, in Neillsville, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Frank Pekol, Sr., of rural Neillsville. She attended rural schools and was a 1955 graduate of the Greenwood High School. On October 29, 1960, she was married to Robert Langreck in Willard.
Surviving are her husband; a son, Allen, 18 months old; a daughter, Sheryl, five months; her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Frank Pekol, Sr., of Neillsville; a sister, Miss Margaret Pekol of Neillsville; and a brother, Frank Pekol, Jr., of rural Greenwood.
Mrs. Langreck was a member of St. Mary’s Catholic Church, its St. Cecelia’s Circle, the Parish Council of Catholic Women, and the American-Slovenian Catholic union, Lodge No. 174, of Willard.
The Parish Council of Catholic Women held a rosary service Tuesday afternoon at 3 o’clock; and at 8:30 p.m. a general rosary was conducted. Following the general rosary Tuesday evening, members of the American-Slovenian Catholic Union, No. 174, K. S. K. J., held a rosary service.
The Georgas Funeral Home made the funeral arrangements.
People from away attending the services were: Sister M. Lillin of Marshfield; Sister Mary Niva of Chippewa Falls; Brother Francis and Brother Thomas of De Soto; Mr. and Mrs. Ivan Ruzic, Mrs. Bertha Mueller, Leo Mueller, Mrs. Madelia Mueller, and Mrs. Helen Chase, all of Milwaukee; Leo Reindle, Sr., and Leo Reindle, Jr., of Kenosha; Mr. and Mrs. Louis Zulick of Lodi; Edward Pernic of Madison; John Pernic, Jr., of Cedar Rapids, Ia.; Mr. and Mrs. Robert Pernic and family of Highwood, Ill.; Mr. and Mrs. Anton Volovsek and family of Franklin; and many other relatives and friends from the Willard, Greenwood, Loyal, Marshfield and surrounding area.
The Parish Council of Catholic Women attended the services in a body.
Pallbearers were: Eugene, Francis and Anton Langreck, Stanley A., and James Pekol and Robert Pernic.
