Kauth, Peter (? - 22 January 1966)

Old friends and neighbors will be interested to hear of the death of Peter Kauth, 90, January 22, at a Jefferson hospital after a long illness.

He and his family lived in this vicinity (Washburn) over 50 years ago, before moving to Lake Mills, where he was employed at the Creamery Package Company until his retirement in 1948.  His wife Mary died in 1964.

Surviving are five daughters: Mrs. Max Kelch of Lake Mills, Mrs. Raymond Stocks and Mrs. David Bodine of Milwaukee, Mrs. Albert Peterson of Nebraska City, Nebr., and Mrs. Clifford Mueller of Monroe, Mich.; fifteen grandchildren and 33 great-grandchildren.

The funeral was held January 25 from St. Francis Xavier Catholic Church in Lake Mills.
