Baker, Louis (21 DEC 1878 - 3 OCT 1960)

Louis Baker, age 81, passed away at his home in Chippewa Falls at 11 a.m. Monday.

Mr. Baker was born in Thorp, Township, Clark County, Wis. on Dec. 21, 1878, the son of the late George and Mary Baker.  He farmed in the Stanley area for a time and then moved to Chippewa fall 27 years ago.

Surviving are three brothers, Frank of Stanley; Lester of Sharon, Wis., and Floyd of Minneapolis; three sisters, Mrs. Stella Grady, Abbotsford; Mrs. Ruth Kline, Loyal, Wis., and Mrs. Alice Notman, Marinette, Wis.

Friends may call at the Plombon Funeral Home, Stanley.  Services are tentatively set for Thursday at 1:30 p.m. at the funeral home.  Interment will be in the Oakland, Cemetery.
