We are not off the map, oh no. The cornered by the beautiful we have just been hibernating.
Tuesday night a large gathering assembled at the hall to welcome home our guardsman Leonard White, just returned from the border with Co. A.
Tuesday evening the junior league gave a program and social. It was well attended and the youngsters acquitted themselves well.
Saturday night the band gave a basket social and play entitled Mrs. Smithkuir daughter. It was well received and the venture netted a neat sum.
O.E. Ingle’s baby and little Charley Jones have both been quite sick the past week, but are gaining nicely now.
Will Grade and family have departed with their household goods for North Dakota where they will occupy a farm.
Geo. Burt and family will go onto a farm near Carry Station.
Mr. and Mrs. Ed Hahm are now located at Miles City, Mont., where Ed has a run on the railroad.
The Theo. Seifert family visited one day last week at H. ulbrecht’s.
A dusty films seems to cover the snow the past few days. We don’t know what it could be other than powder from distant battle fields.
Roads! Don’t mention it.
The Nasonville R.N.A. is to meet March 13 at the Leo Kleinschmidt home.
Ray, a son of Mr. and Mrs. Alec McTavish, is very ill with typoid fever at Merrill where he has been teaching school.
