Tuchscher, William (1878 - 9 MAR 1917)

(Note - Birth year taken from St. Stephen’s Cemetery listing)

Wm. Tuchscher died last Friday at the Marshfield Hospital.  He was buried Tuesday morning on the Chili Catholic Cemetery grounds.  He had an operation several weeks ago on the glands of his neck, and came home about three weeks ago.  Two weeks ago Tuesday he had an acute attack of appendicitis and the appendix burst before an operation could be performed.  He was operated on at the Marshfield hospital last week Wednesday.  It seemed to be partially successful, but after a few days inflammation set in, and he finally succumbed, surrounded by all his near relatives.  He leaves to mourn his death, his wife, four children, his aged father, brother John and others.  He was a member of the Chili M.W.A.  He was, during his lifetime, a very industrious, honest, hardworking young man, who did his part in building his home and the country.  His wife and children have the sympathy of all.
