Northern Clark County News:
M/Sgt. Howard A. Hoeft, son of Mr. and Mrs. Theo A. Hoeft of Abbotsford, has arrived for duty at Clark AB, Philippines. Sergeant Hoeft, an air traffic controller, previously served at McClellan AFB, Calif. He is assigned to the air force communications service which provides global communications and aids to aerial navigation for the USAF and other agencies. The sergeant is a 1948 graduate of Chippewa Falls High School. His wife, Ruby, is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Andrew Patieace of Rt. 5 Chippewa Falls.
