Sunday dinner guests of Mr. and Mrs. Edwin Evanson were Mr. and Mrs. Orville Evanson and son of Wausau, Mr. and Mrs. Roland Evenson and family of Mosinee, and Mr. and Mrs. Arne Matheson and Sheri. The dinner was in honor of five members of the Evanson family who have birthdays within three weeks. They are Mrs. Roland Evanson, Mrs. Edwin Evanson, Orville and Roland Evanson and Mrs. Arne (Agnes) Matheson.
Mrs. Albert Marks returned home Monday from Princeton, Minn., where she was called a week ago by the serious illness of her father, George Uran. Mr. Uran, who suffered a stroke, is a patient in the Community Hospital in Princeton. His condition is somewhat improved.
Miss Elaine Wachholz of St. Paul, Minn., spent the weekend with her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Leonard Wachholz. Bill Simek and Miss Ginger Vogle of St. Paul, Minn., who accompanied Elaine, were weekend guests at the William Simek, Sr. home.
Mrs. Amy Lewerenz spent the weekend in Altoona and Eau Claire. In Eau Claire she was a guest of Mr. and Mrs. Herman Buchholz, and in Altoona visited Mrs. Huetta Radke and her sister, Gladys Glassbrenner. Saturday evening Mrs. Lewerenz visited Mrs. E. A. Hardies and with Mr. Hardies, who is seriously ill in Sacred Heart Hospital. Mr. Hardies is a former depot agent in Neillsville.
