Ross, Dr. P.M. (Sells Practice - MAR 1917)
Early this week a deal was closed whereby Dr. P.M. Ross sold his practice here to Dr. G.F. Murphey of Junction City, Wis. Dr. Ross found it necessary to make the change on account of an ailment of long standing, and for which he intends to take treatments of specialists, and also to take a needed rest. Dr. Murphey and family arrived here early this week and have taken up residence in the Ross home. Dr. Ross and family have moved into the Wright house where they expect to remain until school closes, after which they intend to move onto his farm in the town of York for the balance of the summer. Next fall the doctor will take an extensive course in surgery and if all goes well, will return here later to open up a hospital. The doctor has made many friend during his residence in Granton and it is hoped by all that he will return here as are his present intentions.
Dr. Murphey comes here well recommended, and gives up a large practice at Junction City in accepting this opening.
