Dawes Angel caught two wood chucks about Feb 14 and everybody thought spring was coming. It will take an even dozen to bring spring this year.
Percy Hallock ahs been on the sick list this week, but is better now.
Mrs. J. Lenherr and daughter of N.D. is visiting Mrs. Paul Bealer and daughter.
A.W.C.T.U. was stared in Chili with 14 charter members.
Mr. Breese of Granton was out to see John Sweet Monday.
Fred Hill went to Cadott Friday night for a short visit.
John Hutt and wife came down from New Auburn to attend the funeral of Will Tuchscher as were Will’s three sisters and children and one brother-in-law from Milwaukee.
Clark Wilcox left Friday for Osseo.
Thursday night a reception was held on Russell Grease. Everybody had a good time.

Mrs. Emma Brooks helped Mrs. Emma Oatman quilt Tuesday.
Otto Rupno and wife were Marshfield visitors on Tuesday.
Saturday the trains almost failed to run. The 2 o’clock got as far as Cedarhurst at 8 and left all but one car on the side track, went on with one coach, did not come back until Sunday afternoon.
The basket social and play were held Tuesday night at M.W.A. hall in Chili. The baskets brought about $14. The play was home talent from Nasonville and was fine. It will be given at Nasonville Wednesday night.
