Greenwood (24 March 1966)

 

Mr. and Mrs. Walter Swieso spent the weekend in Granton with her daughter, Mrs. Leonard Thiede and family, and were present for the birthday celebrations held Sunday in honor of Mrs. Thiede and the 11th birthday of her daughter, Roxanne, which occurred March 11 and 15; others attending were, Mr. and Mrs. Eugene Thiede and daughter, Marilyn, and Mrs. Josie Thiede of Marshfield.

 

Mr. and Mrs. Kenneth Verhulst entertained at their home Saturday in honor of the second birthday of their daughter, Diane.  Guests included the grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Frank Resch of Marshfield and Mr. and Mrs. Clarence Verhulst of Greenwood.  Other out of town guests was Miss Anna Bohman of Marshfield and Mrs. Lyle Verhulst and children of Loyal.

 

Sunday guests at the Henry Vollrath home were Mr. and Mrs. Lee Jensen of Owen and Mr. and Mrs. Arno Beyer.

 

Evelyn Cox of Wisconsin Rapids visited Sunday with her brother and sister-in-law, Mr. and Mrs. Lawrence Cox.

 

Mr. and Mrs. Don Telford and daughters, Karen and Jane, of Eau Claire and Mr. and Mrs. Harold Warner and children of Chetek spent Sunday with their parents, Mr. and Mrs. Don Warner.

 

Members of the Intersee club were entertained Wednesday evening at the home of Mrs. Arnold Beyer.

 

Mr. and Mrs. Jerrold Kuester and daughters, Susan and Sharon, of Eau Claire, spent Sunday with their parents, Mr. and Mrs. Lawrence Cox and Mr. and Mrs. George Kuester.

 

Sunday visitors at the Kenneth Stafford home were Mr. and Mrs. Paul Rossman of Withee and Roger Dillenbeck of Marshfield.

 

Mr. and Mrs. Ben Dallman and Mr. and Mrs. Don Warner visited last Thursday in Madison.

 

Mr. and Mrs. John Mader and son, Tommy of Wisconsin Rapids spent from Friday until Sunday with her mother, Mrs. Clarissa Steele, and her grandmother, Mrs. Alma Mason.

 

Sunday guests at the Walter Schwarze home were Mr. and Mrs. George Humke and Mr. and Mrs. Paul Humke and son, Kurt.

 

Mrs. Henry Smith was admitted March 14 to the hospital in Marshfield and underwent surgery there March 15.

 

Mrs. Leo Chapman has moved from the Kenyon apartments on Depot Street to Loyal, where she will reside.

 

Shirley Marie, infant daughter of Mr. and Mrs. George Kippenhan was baptized by the Rev. Orval Egbert at the Sunday morning service in Immanuel United Church.

 

Mr. and Mrs. Jerry Shoberg and daughter, Juliann, of Stevens Point, and Mr. and Mrs. Viv Carteron, were Sunday supper guests at the Eugene Carteron home in observance of the birthday of Mrs. Carteron.

 

Mrs. John Zepaltas, Mrs. Harlan Brux and Mrs. Eugene Carteron visited in Marshfield Saturday.
