Patricia Ann
Heckel, 74, Mosinee, died Wednesday May 9, 2012, at her home.
She was born March 22, 1938, in Colby, daughter
of the late Melvin and Jocelyn (Wellman) Brehm. On April 18, 1959 she married
Jerome Heckel at Our Lady of Peace, Marshfield.
Pat was a graduate of Colby High School class of
1955 and graduated St. Joseph School of Nursing, Marshfield, class of 1958. She
worked for Greenheck Fan Corp. for 30 years, retiring in May 2003.
Pat enjoyed cooking, baking, scrapbooking,
walking, polka music, traveling, spending time with her family, her
grandchildren and relaxing in her plant room.
Survivors, besides her husband, Jerome; include
five sons, Steven (Judy) Heckel, Abbotsford, Thomas Heckel, Cape Elizabeth,
Maine, Joel (Laurel) Heckel, Mosinee, Daniel (Kara) Heckel, Mosinee and Charles
(Kimberly) Heckel, Medford; seven grandchildren, Megan, Jacob, Anton, Polina,
Rileigh, Caleb and Kenley; one brother, James Brehm; two sisters, Elizabeth
Brehm and Janet (Dave) Donovan; and five nieces and nephews, Eric Brehm, Becky
Nigbor, Cindy Brehm, Russel Brehm and Andrew Brehm.
She was preceded in death by her parents;
brother, Gerald (Sandy) Brehm; granddaughter, Kylie Heckel; sister-in-law, Joan
Brehm; and a niece, Sheila Brehm.
Services will be at 10 a.m., Tuesday, May 15,
2012, at St. Paul Catholic Church, Mosinee. The Rev. Donald Przybylski will
officiate. Visitation will be from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. Monday, May 14, 2012, where
at 6:30 p.m. there will be a rosary service. Visitation will resume from 8:30
a.m. to 9:30 a.m. Tuesday at Beste Funeral Home, Mosinee.
Memorials in Patricia's name may be directed to
the St. Paul Catholic Church building fund.
