Rosenberg, Ralph Paul (12 June 1912 - 26 March 1966)

 

Funeral services were held Wednesday afternoon from the United Church of Christ in Neillsville for Ralph Paul Rosenberg, 53, Neillsville, who died suddenly Saturday at his home.  The Rev. W. C. Koehler officiated with burial taking place in the Neillsville City Cemetery.  Masonic services were conducted Tuesday evening at the Georgas Funeral Home.

 

Mr. Rosenberg was born June 12, 1912, in Zion, Ill., where he attended schools.  He came to Neillsville in 1945 with the Weidenhoff Company.  He also had worked for Auto-Test, Inc., and the Nelson Muffler Corp., in Neillsville and Black River Falls.  At the time of his death he was associated with the NEFCO plant in Neillsville.

 

He was a member and a deacon of the United Church, a member of Carmi Chapter, No. 60, Order of Eastern Star; Neillsville Lodge, No. (Blotch) F & A M; Neillsville Chapter, (blotch) R. A. M.

 

On June 26, 1935, Mr. Rosenberg was married to the former Eleanor Brautigam in Chicago, Ill.

 

He is survived by his wife; two daughters, Mrs. Gary (Carol) Ziegler, of Hales Corners; and Diane, at home.  Other survivors are two sisters: Mrs. Leonard (Gladys) Diokas and Mrs. John (Mildred) Oliver, both of Chicago, Ill.; and two grandchildren.

Funeral services for Ralph P. Rosenberg, 53, of Neillsville, were held last Thursday afternoon from the united Church, with the Rev. W. C. Koehler officiating.  Masonic rites were held Tuesday evening at the Georgas Funeral Home.  Burial was made in the Neillsville City Cemetery.

 

Pallbearers were: W. H. Allen, Earl Bruhn, Kenneth L. Sherren, Milo R. Mabie, Albert Wilson and Thaddeus Zajac.

 

Mrs. Robert Peters sang, "In the Garden" and "My Faith Looks up to Thee" accompanied at the organ by Mrs. Jess W. Scott.

 

People from out of town here for the service included: Mr. and Mrs. Gary Ziegler of Hales Corners; Miss Diane Rosenberg of Milwaukee; Mrs. John Oliver, Mr. and Mrs. Leonard Diokas, Mrs. George Kopta, Mr. and Mrs. Warren Rudnick and Charles Brautigam, all of Chicago, Ill.; Darrel Kersting of Black River Falls; Mr. and Mrs. Rhynold Gutknecht of Alma Center; W. G. Nostrand, E. E. Bryant, Jerry Johnson, Joe A. Ylvisaker, Bjarne Lysne, all of the Nelson Muffler in Stoughton; Kenneth Sherren of Greenwood.  NEFCO employees attended the service in a body.
