Neillsville (31 March 1966)

 

Several members of Carmi Chapter, Order of Eastern Star attended the annual inspection of the Owen Chapter Monday evening. Tuesday evening, several members were guests of the La Crosse Chapter at Friends Night.  Mrs. Ruth Van Gorden of Carmi Chapter sang at this meeting.

 

Friends have received word that Sister M. Ricardo, who taught in St. Mary’s Catholic School in Neillsville for 10 years and who was principal of the school, has been transferred to Milwaukee, where she will be supervising principal in St. Aloysius Catholic School.

 

Weekend guests at the Gilbert Wren home were Mr. and Mrs. Walter Schmidt and daughter and Judy Wren, all of West Bend; and Mr. and Mrs Fred Bauer and two children of Franksville.  They were here for the wedding of their brother, Ronnie Wren.

 

Mr. and Mrs. Gary Ziegler and two sons of Milwaukee were weekend guests of their parents, Mr. and Mrs. Alvin Ziegler and Mr. and Mrs. Ralph Rosenberg, Mr. and Mrs. Ziegler plan to return Wednesday to attend the funeral of her father, who died Saturday evening of an apparent heart attack at his home.

 

A daughter was born to Mr. and Mrs. Donald Erdmann of Milwaukee, weighing six pounds, 12 ounces, March 18. She has been named Jill Ann.  Mrs. Erdmann is the former Barbara Bollom, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. E. D. Bollom of Neillsville.
