Hagen, Harrietta (17 JUNE 1884-NOV 31 1985)

 

Harrietta Hattie Hagen, 74, of Loyal died early Sunday morning of Old age complications at Sunset Convalescent Home at Fairchild, Wis. after being there about ten days.

 

Funeral services were held Wednesday at 10 a.m. in St. Anthony’s Catholic Church. The Rev. Norbert King officiated. Burial was in the church cemetery.

 

The former Herriette Gerrits was born June 17, 1884 in Brown County, Wisconsin. She was married to William Hagen June 18, 1912 at Holland Town. They moved to a farm in the town of Loyal after marriage, where they lived until 1952 when they moved to the city of Loyal. She was a member of St. Anthony’s Catholic Church and Altar Society.

 

She is survived by her husband, one daughter, Mrs. Richard (Lorena) Czecholiniski, Milwaukee; six sons, Norbert, Fall River; Joseph, Dawson, North Dakota; Edward, Beaver Dam; Lawrence, Eau Claire; Robert, Hillside, Illinois and Clarence, Minneapolis, Minn. There are 20 living grandchildren and five brothers; William Gerrits of Appleton; Nick Gerrits, Chicago, Illinois; Ted Gerrits, Chilton; John Gerrits, Kaukawna; Joe Geritts, Holland Town; one sister Mae, Mrs. Ray Lauge, Appleton; Two brothers and sisters preceded her in death.
