Funeral services were held in St. Theresa’s Catholic Church in Appleton, at 9 a.m. Saturday for Leo M. Theisen, 77, of 610 West Spring Street who died Thursday at 1:45 a.m. after six weeks illness in St. Elizabeth’s hospital. Burial was in St. Joseph’s cemetery, Appleton.
Mr. Theisen was born December 18, 1880 at Kossuth Wis.: Manitowoc County. He was a retired hardware dealer and operated a hardware store in Manitowoc for 20 years until 1921 to 1949 he was in business in Loyal.
He is survived by his wife, one son, Earl Theisen at home and one brother William F. Theisen of Loyal.
