St. Mary’s Catholic Church at Greenwood (Welcome New Pastor - 1966)
St. Mary’s parish in Greenwood held a welcoming reception for their new pastor, the Rev. Aloysius Baumann, at St. Mary’s hall Sunday evening.
Mrs. James McConnell, chairman, Mrs. John Lindner and Mrs. H. M. Bergemann were in charge of the program. The "welcome" was given by Patrick Mc Connell. The Busy Badgers 4-H chorus of 33 members, who received a blue ribbon last Thursday in a four county area contest, sang, "America the Beautiful," "Every time I feel the Spirit," and "The Instruments," under the direction of Mrs. Rita Stewart. Kay Klinke gave a humorous declamation, "Charles".
A social hour followed the program, and a lunch was served, which included a cake baked and decorated for the occasion by Mrs. Robert Susa.
