Briski, Mildred Eva (11 November 1925 - 21 April 1966)

 

Mrs. Frank Briski, 40, of Greenwood died unexpectedly last Thursday at 3:40 p.m. in St. Joseph’s Hospital in Marshfield, where she was admitted that morning.

 

Mrs. Briski, the former Mildred Eva Williams, daughter of Rollin and Bessie Williams, was born November 11, 1925, in the Township of Reseburg.  She was married February 10, 1945, to Frank Briski at Neillsville. The Briskis farmed in the Greenwood area, presently two miles west of here.

 

She was a member of St. Mary’s Catholic Church and its St. Ann’s Society.

 

Survivors are: her husband; two daughters, Mrs. Larry (Virginia) Meyer of Loyal, and Patricia, at home; two sons, Frank M. and William, at home; a grandchild; her mother, Mrs. Bessie Williams of Marshfield; five sisters, mrs. Alvin (Emma) Kippenhan and Mrs. Donald (Nettie) Berthold of Greenwood, Miss Della Williams of Cushing, Tex., Mrs. Dalton (Grace) Bartlett of LeMars, Ia., Miss Hester Williams of Janesville; three brothers, Walter of Colorado Springs, Colo., Dewey of Thorp and Roy Williams of Friendship.

 

Funeral services were held Monday at 9 a.m. from the Hill Funeral Home and at 10 a.m. from St. Mary’s Catholic Church. The Rev. Aloysius Baumann officiated. Burial was made in St. Mary’s Cemetery.
