Lawrence, Cornelia (8 MAY 1856 - 13 DEC 1960)
Mrs. Neil Lawrence, 104 years of age, died at the home of her son Ross G. Lawrence, at Thorp (Clark Co., Wis.) on Tuesday, Dec. 13th, 1960. She had resided in Fairchild for many years and in Eau Claire before coming to live here. She was one of Northwester Wisconsin’s oldest residents.
She was born Cornelia Bradley in Pennsylvania on May 8, 1856, moving to Oshkosh, Wis. in 1862 where she lived for 25 years. She was married to a veteran of the Civil War, Neil Lawrence, in 1879, and in 1887 they moved to Fairchild, until she was 97, when she moved to Eau Claire. In addition to her son Ross of Thorp, she is survived by two grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.
