Medynski, Felix A. (12 JAN 1885 - 6 JAN 1961)
Funeral services were conducted by Rev. Martin Wachna at St. Mary’s Polish
national Catholic Church at Lublin at ten o’clock Tuesday morning, Jan. 10, 1961
for Felix A. Medynski, 75, who passed away at the Stanley Hospital Friday
evening, Jan. 6th, 1960 of cancer. He had been a patient there for
the past three weeks. The
deceased was born in Russia on Jan. 12, 1885. He came tot eh United States at
the age of 19 years and worked at his trade of mason in Colorado and New Mexico
before coming to Lublin in 1926, where he operated a store for one year and then
purchased a farm. In 1947 he semi-retired and moved to a smaller farm.. In
1922 he was united in marriage to Katherine Ziemba at Lublin who, with three
children, survives him. One son Joe, Radio Man Chief, U.S. Navy at Harve De
Grace, Maryland; two daughters, Mrs. Julia Cable, Chardon, Ohio and Sophie
Medynski, Chicago, Ill., and two grandchildren. He
was laid to rest in St. Mary’s Cemetery at Lublin.
