With spring beginning we have hope now that winter will gradually leave us.  It has been about the hardest winter we had for quite a number of years.

The election this spring is liable to be a warm one.  It would be best therefore to remember that the other fellow is not necessarily a bad man because he happens to disagree with you.  Let every man vote according to his own convictions, and let the result be the law for the time being and let everybody abide by it cheerfully.

It would be wise for farmers to buy their necessary farm implements while the roads are passable.  There may be a time when they are not and when farm work could commence.

The Ladies Aid will meet with Mrs. Phillips and Mrs. Graham at Mrs. Graham’s, March 29th.  Everybody is invited.
