Daniel, Robert (25 FEB 1890 - 1 JAN 1961)

Robert Daniel was born Feb. 25, 1890 in Milwaukee.  When he was a boy his parents moved to a farm in the town of Reseburg (Clark Co., Wis.) where he resided until 1943, when he moved to his present home in Thorp.  He became ill Nov. 1^st and was taken to the Stanley Hospital where he remained until his death on Jan. 1^st, 1961.  His death is mourned by his three brothers, Reinhold of Withee and Fred and Charles of Thorp, two nieces, Mrs. Kenneth Bobb of Thorp and Mrs. Rodney Grimes of Minneapolis, and their families.

Funeral services were held Jan. 4 at the Thorp Funeral Home with Rev. Robert Olson officiating.  Pallbearers were: Mr. John Barth, Mr. Herman Doege, Mr. Chas. Tieman, Mr. Fred Hedler, Mrs. Chas. Myrin and Mr. Frank Swienton.

Graveside rites were conducted by the American Legion at the Sylvan Cemetery.
