Conway, Catherine E. (28 DEC 1960)

Miss Catherine Ellen Conway and Robert Krautkramer were joined in marriage Wednesday, Dec. 28, 1960, in an eleven o’clock ceremony at Newman Club Chapel, La Crosse, Wis.  The Right Rev. Anthony P. Wagener officiated at the nuptials.

Mr. and Mrs. Francis J. Conway, Thorp (Clark Co., Wis.), and Mr. and Mrs. George Krautkramer, lake Geneva, Wis., are the parents of the couple.

The bride, given in marriage by her father, wore a gown of traditional white satin and alencon lace.  Her fingertip veil was held by a band of Alencon lace and seed pearls.  She carried gardenias and holy.

Sisters of the bride attended her.  Miss Roseanne Conway, Washington, D.C. was maid of honor, and Miss Mary Elizabeth Conway, Washington, D.C., Miss Jane Conway, Milwaukee, Wis., Miss Connaught Conway, Thorp, Wis., were bridesmaids.  They wore identical dresses of sapphire blue satin and carried holly.

Mr. Stanley Kukla Jr., Chicago, was best man.  Serving as ushers were H. Allen Starks, Jon Yakes, Robert Burnett of Lake Geneva, Charles Nerud of Elroy, and Michael Ziegelmaier of La Cross.

Following the ceremony a reception was held in the Crystal Room of the Stoddard Hotel.  After a wedding trip to northern Wisconsin, the couple will make their home at 209 West Ave. South, La Crosse.
