Marden, Daisy (21 July 1880 - 27 May1966)
Mrs. William Marden, 85, of Greenwood, died Saturday in Neillsville. Funeral services were to be held at 2 p.m. Wednesday from Grace Methodist Church in Greenwood, with the Rev. Carl Booher officiating. Burial was to be made in the Greenwood Cemetery.
The former Daisy Hale was born July 21, 1880, in Lime Ridge. She came to Clark County when she was 11 years old. She was married September 1, 1896, to William Marden in Hewettville. They celebrated their 57th wedding anniversary in 1953. After their marriage they lived in Neillsville before coming to Greenwood in 1915, where Mr. Marden conducted a jewelry store. He died in 1959.
Mrs. Marden was a member of Grace Methodist Church and its WSCS.
Survivors include three grandchildren, Mrs. Billie Jean Howard of Elmonte, Calif., Mrs. Jack (Betty) Kruger of Loyal and Kenneth Marden, Jr., of Milwaukee; and eight great-grandchildren.

Services for Mrs. William Marden were held Wednesday afternoon from Grace Methodist Church. The Rev. Carl Booher officiated. Burial was made in the Greenwood Cemetery.
Pallbearers were: Donald Decker, Irvin Humke, Ervin Leach, Oscar Miller, George Haeuser and Hugh Christie.
"Beyond the Sunset" and "He Walks with me" were sung, by Miss Nettie Miller, accompanied on the organ by Mrs. Carl Booher.
Out of town people who attended were: Stanley Pitt of Weyauwega; Mr. and Mrs. Everett Hale, Mr. and Mrs. Victor Wood, Mrs. Albert Larson, Mrs. Ernest Colwell and Mrs. Martha Hale, all of Black River Falls; Mr. and Mrs. Jack Kruger, Mr. and Mars. Gilbert Kruger and Mr. and Mrs. Peder Lydiksen, all of Loyal; Mrs. Katherine Marden and Mr. and Mrs. Kenneth marten of Milwaukee; and Mrs. Corran Baker of Morris, Ill,, and friends from the surrounding area.
