Our school has vacation on account of bad roads.
Mr. and Mrs. P. Breseman, Mr. and Mrs. A. Voigt and family and Miss Neva Henze took a sleigh ride Wednesday evening.
Mr. A. Bentz’s youngest daughter, Leona, has been quite sick. Dr. Murphy is taking care of her.
Mr. Walter Krause visited at home Sunday for the first time in two months.
Mr. Alvin and his sisters Esther and Emma Grassman spent a pleasant evening at A. Voigt’s Sunday.
Misses Lydia and Elsie Nitschke visited Miss Lottie Krause Sunday afternoon.
Martin Krause has hired out to A. Voigt for the season.
Leslie and Herbert Keuer called at Boller’s Sunday.
Louis Wiesner hauled cheese Tuesday. A. Voigt went to Granton with him and they brought home a vat Adolph purchased from the Prange factory.
F. Grassman’s nearly got stalled on the Gerber hill a few days ago. They got down in the water and had a hard time getting out.
We hear W. Breseman has taken unto himself a helpmate. Congratulations!
Miss Esther Grassman leaves today for North Dakota to see her sister.
Miss Lottie Krause visited at Whittemore Sunday evening.
Mr. and Mrs. C. Buchanan made a business trip to Granton Tuesday.
W. Christman is still swing logs.
Mrs. E. Keuer attended a feather bee at Mrs. August Krause’s Wednesday.
