The Globe school and the Seif school close Friday for a month’s vacation.
Theodore, the infant son of Mr. and Mrs. Erich Schoenherr Jr., was baptized on Sunday.
Mrs. Paul Klauer gave a feather stripping bee at her home Thursday.
Ferdinand Garbush and family of Neillsville came Saturday to spend a few days at the John Dudei home.
Paul Hagedoren has purchased a gasoline engine and sawing outfit.
This community is sad over the death of Mrs. Fred Steinberg, which occurred Saturday forenoon at St. Joseph’s Hospital at Marshfield. The funeral will be held Wednesday afternoon at the Globe Lutheran Church.
Chris Christensen took his wife to her old home at Rose Lawn Monday. Richard Hagedorn has charge of the creamery during his absence.
Anna Manthei is home from Neillsville since Wednesday.
The roads are in bad condition, making it hard for a mail carrier. Wheeler Foreman delivered mail on foot for Route 3 Monday.
Rose Lueck is learning sewing with Mrs. J. Schiller at Neillsville.
A party of young people spent Sunday evening at the Albert Hemp home.
Mrs. L. Quast, Mrs. Wm. Mitte and Fred Steinberg went to Marshfield Friday and returned Saturday.
Mrs. Ed Schwellenbach and children are spending a few days at the Joe Gall home at Neillsville.

Theodore Schoenherr Sr. was out from Neillsville Sunday to stand sponsor for his infant grandson.
W.B. Thoma and family are free from the quarantine for diphtheria since the early part of last week.
Mrs. Richard Hagedorn and daughter Nelda spent Wednesday with her parents, Wm. Dux and wife, in Pine Valley.
Communion services will be held at the Lutheran Church on Palm Sunday and on Good Friday. Services being at 10:00 a.m.
