Louis Hantke stepped on a rusty nail Monday, since which time he is taking an enforced vacation.
Lyman Hall, an old resident of the vicinity, answered the final summons at the County Farm last Saturday. He was 88 years old and had spent the last 7 years or thereabouts at the co. farm. The funeral was held from the brick church here Tuesday and interment made in the town cemetery.
Vernie Howard is home from the woods since last week.
Clarence Hall came from Dakota to attend the funeral of his father on Tuesday.
Henry Carter is home from Crandon since Saturday.
Sereno Wren is home from a several month visit in Iowa since last week.
