Mr. and Mrs. Fred Handke spent last week Wednesday at Will Kurth’s.
Mrs. Hoard Erwin has been on the sick list the past week, although is better at this writing.
Neil and Joe Downer are busy in their big sugar bush.
The Company A. boys of the 3rd Regiment from this vicinity are Frank Johnson, Delbert Gardner, Ted Lawton, Ernest and Leslie Todd and Will Jacobi. They received the call to arms Monday and are now with the Company at Neillsville.
Clay Converse is preparing to move onto his farm vacated by the Richard Downer family.
Florence Converse is working at the Dr. Rath home in Granton while Mrs. Rath is with her parents Mr. and Mrs. Downer in the sugar bush.
Richard, Ernest Yankee and Mrs. Bockleman helped Richard Downer to move onto the Chitwood place this week.
