Mr. and Mrs. Joseph F. Czech of Thorp (Clark Co., Wis.) celebrated their 40^th wedding anniversary on Sunday, Jan. 29, 1961.  The following guests attended dinner and supper:  Mr. and Mrs. Frank Pawlukiewicz, Mr. and Mrs. Frank Pawlukiewicz Jr. and daughter Rita of Owen, Mr. and Mrs. Walter Pawlukiewicz and children, Terry, Danny and Jean, Mr. and Mrs. Joe Twardowski and daughters Dorothy and Sandra of Withee, Mr. and Mrs. John Czech and Bob, Adolph, Kathy and Leon of Hannibal, Mr. and Mrs. Joe Czech of Lublin, Mr. and Mrs. Bernard Prokopiak and family, Mr. and Mrs. Chester Zajaczkowski and family, Mrs. Pauline Zajaczkowski, Mr. and Mrs. Leon Kaczmarek, Mrs. Pearl Kinas and Mr. and Mrs. Albert Kodl and family, all of Thorp.

Mr. and Mrs. Joseph F. Czech received many lovely gifts.  Ray Kodl present his grandmother with a beautiful corsage and Ronald Kodl gave granddad a carnation boutonniere.  Everyone departed wishing the happy couple many happy returns of the day.
