Barten, Nancy Joann (Marriage –28 May 1966)

Miss Nancy Joann Barten, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Norbert Barten of Rt. 1 Granton, and James Lee Petrie of Rt. 3 Marshfield, son of Mr. and Mrs. Leman Petrie of the same address, were united in marriage May 28 in Neillsville. The Rev. Fr. Bernard T. Kelly performed the nuptial ceremony.

Mr. and Mrs. Petrie have returned from a Canadian Wedding trip and are now residing in Madison.

Their attendants were Patricia Barten, Barbara Petrie of Marshfield and Nancy Timion of Waverly, Ia.; Ronald H. Jensen of Omro; George Barten of Wisconsin Rapids; Leroy Burger of Superior; Rick Rekis and Richard Reigel of Marshfield were the ushers.

The bride is a 1965 graduate of the Granton High School and on April 1 of this year was graduated from the Humboldt Institute in Minneapolis, Minn.  Mr. Petrie also is a graduate of the institute in Minneapolis and is employed as an airlines transportation agent.
