Pleasant Ridge (9 May 1966)

Mr. and Mrs. Vernon Drescher were hosts to the Couples’ club Friday evening.

Mr. and Mrs. William McEachern of Madison were guests Sunday of Mr. and Mrs. Delbert Bills. Sunday afternoon, Mr. and Mrs. Bills and their guests drove to Galesville to visit relatives.

Memorial Day visitors at the Earl Magnuson home were her parents, Mr. and Mrs. William Schunke of Black River Falls; Mr. and Mrs. Earl Clay of Hartley, Ia., and Mr. and Mrs. Archie Dance of Paullina, Ia.

Mr. and Mrs. Theamore Vine entertained a group of relatives Sunday evening in honor of their daughter Jean, on her graduation.  Guests were Mr. and Mrs. Willard Gerhardt of Neillsville, Mr. and Mrs. Calvin Gerhardt and family, Mr. and Mrs. Irving Vine and family, and Mr. and Mrs. Earl Vine and family.

Mr. and Mrs. Theamore Vine and Mr. and Mrs. Earl Vine and family attended the graduation of Jean Vine Sunday from the University of Wisconsin-Stevens Point.  Jean plans to teach second grade in Huntington Park, Cal., beginning this fall.
