Miss Kaye Holt and fiancé, William Kent of St. Paul, Minn., and Bill Holt and his fiancée, Kathy Thull, were weekend guests at the A. W. Holt home. Sunday afternoon visitors included Mrs. Eddie Tresemer and children, Mrs. Jerry Johnson and family of rural Neillsville, Mr. and Mrs. Bob Zager and family of Thorp, Mr. and Mrs. Merton Holt and Mrs. Ethel Holt of rural Granton.
Mis Sandra Drescher of Eau Claire spent the weekend with her mother, Mrs. Donald Drescher and brother, Wayne in Christie.
Mr. and Mrs. Oscar Walk were in Eau Claire Tuesday evening where they attended the graduation of their son, John, from the technical and vocational school. John completed a course in automotive mechanics. Mr. and Mrs. Bill Simek also attended the graduation. Their son, Jim, was a member of the graduating class.
Mr. and Mrs. Bob Bell and family of rural Neillsville visited Friday to Sunday in Waukegan, Ill., with Mr. and Mrs. Mac McGarrigle and daughter, Mr. and Mrs. Jerry Smith and family and with Mr. and Mrs. Ray Adams.
Al Riesner, son, Charles, and daughter of Ruby of Sheldon, were guests Sunday of Mr. Reisner’s sister-in-law Mrs. Elsie Scherer.
Mr. and Mrs. Charles Snyder of Chicago, Ill., arrived Wednesday for an overnight visit with his sister, Mrs. Elsie Scherer. They are leaving today (Thursday) on a Canadian fishing trip.
Mr. and Mrs. Jerry O’Brien and family and Dan Schulist of Milwaukee spent the Memorial weekend with their parents, Mr. and Mrs. Ted Schulist.
Mr. and Mrs. Martin Feuerstein left Saturday to spend the weekend in Oshkosh with their daughter, Mrs. Gilbert Frank and family. On Sunday they attended the graduation of their grandson, Steve Frank, from the eighth grade at Sacred Heart School in Oshkosh.
