Sumiec, John (24 JUN 1879 - 19 FEB 1961)
John Sumiec, 81, a retired Thorp (Clark Co., Wis.) farmer who had been living in the city for a number of years, died at St. Joseph’s Hospital at Chippewa Falls of old age infirmities. Funeral services will be held at St. Hedwig’s Catholic Church Chapel in the city at ten o’clock this morning (Thursday, Feb. 23), with burial in the parish cemetery. Rev. Francis Disher will officiate. A complete obituary will be published next week.
