SOUTH SPENCER

 

The Parent-Teacher association held their monthly meeting at the Sawyer School Friday evening.  Following a business meeting cards were played and prizes were merited by Mrs. Otto Hoff, Jr. and Carl Hoff, first; Mrs. Alfred Pearl and Roy Dittman, second, and Mrs. Fred Stargardt, traveling prize.  Eight tables were in play.  Refreshments were served by Mrs. Richard Koch, Mrs. Albert Hoff and Mrs. Erwin Hoops.

 

Vernon Plath visited at the Albert Adams home Wednesday afternoon.

 

Mr. and Mrs. Anton Willman visited at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Richard Koch Friday afternoon.

 

Mr. and Mrs. Anton Willman, Mr. and Mrs. Albert Adams, Chester Adams and James Hoops were Marshfield callers Saturday.

 

School is held every other Saturday at the Sawyer school.

 

The ground hog surely saw his shadow Monday and he had very cold weather to greet him, when he awoke form his long winter nap.
