Lehmann, Carole Ann (Marriage - 17 June 1966)

The Rev. Bernard T. Kelly officiated at a double ring ceremony Saturday in St. Mary’s Church in Neillsville uniting in marriage Miss Carole Ann Lehmann of St. Paul, Minn., daughter of Mr. and Mrs. William Lehmann of Granton, and Maynard Andrew Fox of Minneapolis, Minn., whose parents are Mr. and Mrs. Andrew Fox of Mankato, Minn.

Bouquets of lilacs and bridal wreath graced the altar for the ceremony. The pews were marked with clusters of daisies and lavender bows.

Approaching the altar with her father, the bride was attired in a floor length A-line gown of silk organza over peau de soie, styled with an imported lace, seed pearl-embroidered empire bodice, accented by a gently dipping band coming to a delicate streamer-bow in the front. It featured a sculptured neckline. A full-length, sculptured imported lace train flowed from the shoulders. A veil of illusion tulle was held by a double crown of lace, seed pearls and aurora borealis crystals.  The bride carried a bouquet of stephanotis and trailing ivy, centered by a single lavender orchid.

Mrs. Gladys Smith of Appleton was her sister’s matron of honor. Bridesmaids were Mrs. Marlene Brandt of Minneapolis, Minn., sister of the groom; and Miss Dianne Lanahan of St. Paul, Minn.

Each attendant wore a floor length A-line gown of lavender linen, graced with a curved neckline and empire waist, and enhanced by bands of lace. A tiara of white daisies and leaves of ivy were worn by each. They carried cascading bouquets of large, white daisies, accented with trailing ivy.

Carl Bindner of Mankato, Minn., was bestman. Groomsmen were Dr. Elroy Lehmann of Dallas, Tex., brother of the bride; and Michael Fox of Mankato, Minn., brother of the groom.  Ushers were James Lehmann of Hinsdale, Ill.; and William Fox of Mankato, Minn.

Hollist Sether, a cousin of the bride sang, "Because" and "The Wedding Prayer", accompanied at the organ by Colleen Montgomery.

A reception, followed by a buffet supper, was held at the Lehmann home in Granton.

Mr. and Mrs. Fox have left on a two-week wedding trip to New York City and Niagara Falls, and will be at home at 8420 Fremont Ave., Bloomington, Minn., after June 26.

Mrs. Fox is a 1962 graduate of Granton High School and has been employed in a collection agency in St. Paul, Minn.  Mr. Fox, a 1955 graduate of Loyola High School in Mankato, Minn., is employed by a motor company in Minneapolis, Minn.
