Rodney and Brenda Fallos of Rib Lake announce the engagement of their daughter Heather Rae to Paul Marin Rachu, son of Gary and Anita Rachu of Abbotsford.

Heather is a 2002 graduate of Rib Lake High School and earned a Bachelor of Science in elementary education from UW-Eau Claire in 2008. She will graduate from Concordia University in August 2012 with a Master of Education degree in advanced literacy. Currently, she is a fifth grade teacher at Alief Independent School District in Houston, TX.

Paul is a 2002 graduate of Abbotsford High School and has earned a Bachelor of Science in mechanical engineering from the Milwaukee School of Engineering in 2006. He is currently a mechanical engineer at Burgess Specialty Fabricating in Houston, TX.

An August 11, 2012 wedding is being planned at First Lutheran Church in Eau Claire.
