Mr. Treichel had a bee Saturday and got his coal hauled up from Kurth.

 

The mailman made us a friendly call last week Thursday.  The roads were so bad that he hadn’t been on our street for a week.

 

Ely Heck bought a cow at an auction south of Kurth Thursday and the cow got tired out coming home and he to be left overnight at Al Nonhof’s.

 

Mr. and Mrs. Heck came over Friday and took their cow home.

 

Mr. and Mrs. Shafter came Saturday and stayed several days with their son Will and wife.

 

Mrs. Geo. Frei spent the past week here visiting her old friends.

 

Bernard and Ruth Pietenpol attended the dance at Neillsville last week Friday night given by the high school club.

 

Lucille and Lila Davis spent Sunday afternoon with Ella Ackerman.

 

Hale Davis and family, Gertrude Davis, Mermal Wonser and Rachel Cole spent Sunday afternoon with Mr. and Mrs. Rella Osgood in their sugar bush.

 

Truman Davis and wife spent Sunday afternoon at John Pietenpol’s.

 

Dr. Schweinler of Neillsville was called out to John Pietenpol’s to see a sick cow.

 

Mr. Whitcomb of Granton has hired out to work for Walter Rowe this summer.

 

We had quite an electric storm Friday night with some hail.

 

Will Foemmel is helping his brother Fred make sugar.

 

Lucille Davis spent a couple of days with her grandmother and had some sewing done.

 

Mrs. Joe Sneberg tell us that the stork visited them in their home and left them another little girl.
