Payne, Donna Esther (Marriage - July 1966)
The Rev. Ronald Goetsch officiated at a nuptial ceremony in Immanuel Lutheran Church in Marshfield uniting in marriage Donna Esther Payne of Marshfield, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Otto Hasz of Rt. 1 Granton, and James Alex Zwicke, son of Rudolph Zwicke of Marshfield.
The bride wore a street length dress made from Brocatelle taffeta in champagne beige. Her small veil was attached to a pillbox headpiece fashioned of the same material as her dress. She carried a lace fan, topped with pink and yellow roses.
Mr. and Mrs. Edward Zwicke of Marshfield served as bestman and matron of honor. Mrs. Zwicke appeared in a two piece suit in mint green made from Brocatelle taffeta. A veil was attached to her bow headpiece. She carried a fan topped with yellow-orange lilies. James Hasz of Granton ushered.
Following the ceremony a supper was held at the home of the bride’s parents on Rt. 1 Granton.
Mr. Zwicke is employed in Marshfield as an auto body repairman.
