College Notes (May – 2012)
Kerin Craig (Neillsville High School Class of 2007) graduated
from the University of Wisconsin-Stevens Point May 19 with a Bachelor of Science
in biology and a Bachelor of Science in psychology.
She is the daughter of Nate and Cindy Craig of Neillsville.
The University of Wisconsin-Green Bay held commencement
ceremonies Saturday, May 12, honoring students who have applied to graduate in
May or at the end of the summer session in August.
Neillsville students graduating include Marta Knodle, theater
major; Nikolas Meurett, arts management major; Nicole Tarcsay, human development
major.
Jeffrey E. Harnisch, son of Pamela and Thomas W. Harnisch,
graduated Sunday, May 13, with a bachelor’s degree in political science from the
University of Minnesota. Harnisch is
a 2007 graduate of Neillsville High School.
Alexandra Kind of Neillsville has received a University of
Wisconsin-Eau Claire study abroad scholarship for international travel during
the fall 2012 semester. The Global Awareness Scholarship is for a “Semester at
Sea.” The UW-Eau Claire study abroad
scholarships range from $250 to $1,000.
