Pleasant Ridge (11 August 1966)
Mr. and Mrs. James Butterfield of Waukesha were
weekend guests at the Glenn Short home. They were accompanied home Sunday by
their daughter, Donna Rae, who spent the last two weeks with her uncle and aunt.
Dennis Hughes of Frankfort, S. D., spent the weekend
with Mr. and Mrs. Glenn Short and family. Saturday he accompanied Mr. Short by
plane to Rockford, Ill., where they attended a convention. They
we accompanied by Gene Simmons of rural Neillsville and Jim Reichenbach of Black
River Falls.
The Women’s Society of Christian Service of the
Pleasant Ridge Methodist Church met Wednesday afternoon in Schuster Park.
Art Hubing and son, Wendell, wee supper guests one
evening last week at the Larry Babka home in Black River Falls, the occasion
being Wendell’s birthday.
Mrs. Virgil Lezotte is convalescing at her home since
being dismissed from Memorial Hospital in Neillsville, where she had medical
care.
Mr. and Mrs. Carl Eisentraut spent the weekend in
northern Wisconsin fishing.
Com. Lee Counsell of Rhode Island is spending a week
with his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Clarion Counsell.
Mrs. Carol Drescher and Carol drove to Green Bay
Wednesday.
